Counseling Services | Mental Health Referral
Escalon Unified wants to ensure we stay connected with those who need us most. If a student you know may benefit from a mental health check-in or conflict mediation support, please complete this form and our Student Services team can reach out. This form should only be used for mental health referrals/ concerns. Anyone can complete the form to suggest a mental health provider check-in with a student.
Work Permits
Students under 18 who wish to work must obtain a work permit. The official work permit will be issued once employment is secured. You can also download a fillable application (click the image above) and return the completed form to the Counseling Center.
Work Permit Criteria by Age:
Ages 16-17
- During School Sessions: Sunday through Friday, students may work up to 4 hours per day. On non-school days and Saturdays, they may work up to 8 hours daily, with a maximum of 32 hours weekly.
- During School Breaks (e.g., Summer): Students may work up to 8 hours per day and up to 40 hours per week.
Ages 14-15
- During School Sessions: Sunday through Friday, students may work up to 3 hours per day. On non-school days and Saturdays, they may work up to 8 hours per day, with a weekly maximum of 18 hours.
- During School Breaks (e.g., Summer): Students may work up to 8 hours per day and up to 40 hours per week.
Important: All students must maintain a minimum 2.00 GPA. Work permits are a privilege and may be revoked if the student or employer does not comply with these requirements.
Transcript Request
Stop by the Counseling Office to fill out a transcript request form. Although we strive to complete the requested transcripts the same day, please allow at least 24 hours for turnaround. Make sure to order as many as you need for any colleges and scholarships you will apply to.
Current students can access their transcripts through their Aeries Portal. Simply click on Grades and scroll down to the Transcripts section. Students can then view the transcript for information needed for college applications and scholarships.
Former Student Transcripts
To order a transcript, contact the Main Office at 209-838-7073. If we are unable to answer your call, please leave a message with the following information:
- Full name used during school
- Year of graduation
- Birthdate
- Phone number
- Mailing address to send the transcript to
Let us know if you need official or unofficial transcripts and the number of copies we should send.
Graduation Verification RequestsAll requests for graduation verifications should be faxed to 209-838-6127. Please allow for a 24-72 hour turnaround time.

NCAA - College Athletics
Students who want to play sports in college must complete academic coursework that exceeds the a-g college admissions requirements and register with the NCAA by the end of their Junior year.
