Attention Seniors! Escalon High School will host a Financial Aid Workshop in the library on Wednesday, December 11th, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. This drop-in event will help students and parents complete the FAFSA or CADAA applications, with assistance available in English and Spanish. To streamline the process, please create your FSA ID ahead of time. Contact your counselor with any questions.

 

Winter Formal is THIS WEEKEND…Saturday, December 14 from 8-11pm!  EHS Student Contracts must be turned in before you can buy a ticket.  The EHS student contracts are located on the wall in the hallway outside the school office.  Contracts will NOT be signed during class time.  Links to buy the tickets online: EHS Student Winter Formal Ticket and non-EHS Guest Winter Formal Tickets  Get ready to DISCO the NIGHT AWAY with your friends!  Ticket prices are $80 each. The last day to buy tickets is TODAY, Dec 10 at 3:30pm.

If you already paid for your winter formal ticket,but haven’t picked up your souvenir ticket and disco ball keychain, please stop by the ASB office to get those items.

 

ASB Office is open Monday thru Friday.  It is open to students every day before school, during nutrition break, and during lunch.  Monday through Thursday, it is also open after school.  The ASB Office is CLOSED after lunch on Fridays.  Please plan accordingly.

AP exams are available for purchase online for $114 per exam.  Go to: EHS AP Exams to purchase the exams. CTE LEADERSHIP: SJC Adopt a Child Toy Donation Drive: Bring Joy This Holiday Season! This holiday season, we’re reaching out to our amazing Cougars, to help make a difference in the lives of children in our community. Through the SJC Adopt a Child Toy Donation Drive, we aim to bring hope and happiness to children in foster care, those facing homelessness, and those enduring challenging circumstances right here in our county.

Items Needed: Amazon & Walmart Gift Cards, Baby Dolls, McDonald’s Gift Cards (for a fun meal), Infant Clothes (for babies in need) 

The children we are supporting range from 6 months to 16 years old—your donations will directly impact their holiday experience and brighten their future. Let’s come together to show our love and support for these kids who need us most.

Attention FFA Students - The joint Escalon High leadership Toy drive has officially begun! We are collecting toys starting today until 12/9. Bring in a toy from the list posted on EHS FFA google classroom to earn 1 FFA point and 1 hour of community service. Christmas on Main has multiple community service opportunities on 12/7 and 12/8, signups can be found on the EHS FFA google classroom page. If you are planning on showing dairy cattle at AgFest this year there is a mandatory meeting on December 10th at lunch in room 25. Our last FFA meeting of the semester will be on 12/11 at 6pm in the cafeteria. Be sure to wear your ugly christmas sweaters and be prepared to decorate christmas cookies!

Attention Sacred Heart Club: Join us and Father from St. Patrick’s Catholic Church for a beautiful Christmas Mass and Pizza on Tuesday, December 10th during lunchtime in Room #5. All are welcome to attend. Mark your calendars and we hope to see you there!

Senior Football and Baseball Players don’t miss the opportunity to apply for The Greg Cupit Memorial Scholarship is open for senior boys who play Baseball and/or Football. It is due December 14 (THIS WEEK!!).

 

There’s a NEW scholarship open to all seniors.  Please apply for the Escalon Historical Society Scholarship. It’s due February 28, 2025. If you already received a list from Karen, this one is not on the list….Please ADD IT to your list and apply.

 

College is expensive, and these days, most students need some financial assistance to afford their education. Luckily, help is readily available.  There are scholarships for everyone! NOW is the time to find out which ones are for YOU.  Stop by the ASB Office for more information.
