Student Volunteer Opportunities: September 14 at the Lions Club Car Show (18 volunteers needed for 2-3 hours) and September 21 at the Wine Stroll from 1-3 to help set up.  See Karen Nunes to sign up.

Details for Lions Club Volunteers on September 14:

6am - 9am: Set-up pop-up tents, chairs, tables, etc. and help with registration (as “runners”) 

10:30am-1:30pm: Help with Lunch

Mariah’s Gift Fundraiser for the Mariah Izzo Scholarship fund will be Saturday, October 19 at Escalon Sportsman Club.  It’s a drive thru dinner from 4-7pm that includes a full tri-tip dinner with beans, bread, and more.  Tickets are $25.  Tickets can be purchased via Venmo @MariahsGift-Valuelife or contact Karen Nunes at Escalon High School at 209-691-9858.

Reminder: College & Career Night is on Monday, September 9th, at 5:30 PM in the Theater. Representatives from CSU, UC, vocational schools, construction apprenticeships, and the military will be present to share valuable information. All grades are welcome to attend, don’t forget to check in with 5 Star.

Serve your community and get paid! Are you interested in working at a local polling place during the upcoming election? Students must be 16 years old, have a 2.5 or higher GPA and be a US Citizen to be eligible. Applications are available in the counseling office until Sept 12. 

FFA Students: FFA Jacket applications and community service signups are open and can be found on the FFA Google classroom page. Jacket applications close on September 25th at 5pm. On September 14th, there are two community service events available to you, the Escalon Car Show and Campus Beautification.

Shoob Photography will be on campus on October 29th to take Senior Portraits for those who have not had theirs done. This portrait will be featured in the yearbook. More detailed information will be provided as the date approaches.
