Vintage yearbooks are on sale for only $5.  We have yearbooks from 1946 to 2018 (not all years, but most: 1950-1951,1953-1955, 1957-1973, 1975-1976, 1978-1984, 1987-1991, 1997, 2000-2003, 2005-2012, 2014-2018).  If you didn’t get your Escalon High School yearbook or would like one with your parents or grandparents in it, we may have one available for you!  Call Karen Nunes at (209) 691-9858 to find out how to get yours today.

 

Interested in joining PIT class next year? There will be a “meet and greet” today during lunch in Rm 7.  Come and find out more information about the class, the interview process, and meet current students.  See you there!

 

Students looking for volunteer opportunities in Escalon? Escalon Lions Club is looking for students to volunteer time on Thursday, March 14 from 6-8:30pm for their annual corned beef dinner. Please see Karen Nunes in the ASB office if you would like to volunteer.

 

Students interested in receiving tutoring in science or math? Please check the tutoring schedule and talk to your counselor if you have any questions about times and dates.

First Responder Program: The month of February is American Heart Month, a time for people to focus on their health. Here are a couple tips on how to take care of your heart : stay active, regular exercise, and maintain a healthy diet.

Yearbook: Are you interested in taking the yearbook next year? The yearbook application is now available. If you are interested, please complete this link and see Mr. Yonke in Room 14 to grab two Teacher Recommendation forms. The application is due March 15th

FFA Members: This Wednesday we will be hosting a lunch time activity in room 36 and making friendship bracelets. We will have our FFA meeting Wednesday at 3:30 in the cafeteria, join us after the business portion of the meeting for a BBQ. 

Disney Grad Nite Registration closes next Friday, February 16th: The Disney Grad Nite trip is May 19-20th.  Waiting list is open, with deposit, but the final payment for the trip is due February 16th!! Seniors who have applied to MJC- It’s time to take care of your next steps. Sign up for the MJC Experience to complete your orientation, ed plan and get a campus tour on March 1. Space on the bus is limited, so complete the Google form to reserve your spot today!

 

Seniors, are you outstanding in math?… The Dr. Anne Triplett Mathematics Scholarship is now open!  It is available to females with a STEM major.  Apply today!

New scholarship for all majors!  Escalon Masonic Lodge is offering a new scholarship at our school!  Please apply!

Escalon Sportsmans Club  scholarships are now open!  They are for ALL MAJORS and are due on March 8.  Please be sure to apply!

Seniors interested in applying for San Joaquin Delta College- We will be hosting a Delta application workshop on Feb 29, 2024 in the library. Use the Google form to sign up. 

 

Graduation reminder: To participate in the ceremony, every senior must purchase their cap and gown from Jostens. Cap, gown, and tassel unit purchases can be made through the link provided in the bulletin - CLICK HERE. Any questions should be directed to Liz Nunes in the front office.

 

 

 

 

Congratulations to our wrestling team on winning the Division 5 Section Championship on Saturday. Frank Rodriguez, Matthew Rangel, and Talan Reider all took home individual section titles. Our boys and girls now advance to the Masters Tournament this Friday and Saturday. 

 

Congratulations to our boys and girls basketball teams on finishing the year strong and earning home playoff games on Tuesday night in the Cougar Dome. The girls earned the #3 seed and will host Sacramento High at 5:30, while the boys earned the #5 seed and will host Marysville at 7:30. 

Come on out and support the teams and let's pack the Cougar Dome for playoff basketball!

 

The 1st 40 High Schools students with an EHS ID card will get in for free Tuesday night!
