“For a better world, what would YOU do?”...is the topic. The Escalon Lions Club Speech Contest is full, but open to 1 alternate students. The contest date is tentatively scheduled for the evening of Thursday, February 1. Participants can bring up to 2 guests. All participants will get a prize check ($100 for 1st place and $25 for all other participants) Dinner is typically provided after the contest by the Escalon Lions. If interested
Rotary Speech Contest--The Escalon Sunrise Rotary Club will be holding its annual speech contest on February 1st. This year's topic is "How Does Rotary Create Hope in the World." Monetary prizes will be given for 1st through 3rd places. Get information on the contest from Karen Nunes in the ASB Office.
