Escalon High School Daily Bulletin

Going to PROM? Contracts for EHS students and guests are available in the rack on the wall by the office and in the library.   Prom is May 6, 2023, from 7-10:30 pm.  Only 250 tickets are available, so please don’t delay getting your tickets.  The ticket prices for EHS Students and non-EHS Guests are $65 thru March 24, $70 thru April 6, and $85 thru April 19.  Tickets will be available to purchase at the ASB office or online after the completed contracts are turned in to the ASB office.  Guest contracts are due no later than April 3 at 3:10 pm.  The last day to purchase tickets is April 19 at 3:10 pm.  **IMPORTANT**A new grading period will begin after spring break.  Please be sure you remain eligible to attend prom.

Introducing the 5-Star Student App: Attention Cougars!  We are rolling out the 5-Star student app here at EHS.  This app can be downloaded and used on your phone or Chromebook.  This will eventually be a “one-stop-shop” for your student ID card, activity check-ins, spirit points, voting, event calendars, and much more.  Teachers, please share the login pdf and promo video with your students today during 3rd or 4th period.  So far the Freshmen class is still in the lead with 40% of their class already enrolled.  See Mrs. Carbajal in Rm 7 at lunch with any questions.

ASB Voting is tomorrow, Wednesday, March 22nd! All Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior students will be able to vote for their class officers and other ASB leadership positions.  Let your voice be heard!  We will be using the new 5-Star app for voting, so be sure to login!!

The Cougar Closet (student store) is now open! You can purchase items with cash during Tuesdays and Thursdays at lunch by the ASB office, or Spirit items can also be purchased online via the EHS website. After School Tutoring & Study Hall is open after school: Mrs. Olsen is available from 3:15-4:15 pm on Mondays and Thursdays in Rm. 29, and Mr. Louro is available on Wednesdays from 3:15-4:30 pm. You can email Mrs. Olsen or Mr. Louro with any questions.

First Responder Leadership: If you are interested in joining the First Responder Leadership Team for next year, please let your counselor know - applications/interviews coming soon! 

Ag Students:  If you were selected to participate in Ag Day there is a pre-arranged absence form you need to fill out and it is available in Room 36.  The forms will be due no later than lunch 3/22 during the mandatory Ag Day meeting in room 36.

There are a limited number of 2023 Escalon High yearbooks left to pre-order and will be sold on a first-come first served basis. Once sold out, we will not be able to have extras printed. Buy yours before it’s too late at yearbookordercenter.com with the school code: 7631. Email Mrs.Fanjul at [email protected] if you’re unsure if you’ve bought one.  

Join Yearbook next year! If you think you might be interested, come pick up your application in room 6. Applications are due March 22.

Sober Grad Drive Thru tickets are available for purchase.  Please see the attachment for additional information. 

Seniors - There are still plenty of scholarships available.  Check the list on the bulletin board near the ASB office or on the ASB office door to see what’s still available.  They are sorted by the due date.  Karen Nunes in the ASB office can help you with any questions.

Seniors - did you attend Collegeville for at least 3 years?  There’s a scholarship especially for you.  Please apply to the Don Adams scholarship.  It’s due this Friday, March 24.

Disney Grad Nite is at full capacity: Remember, even if you have a spot on the trip, to attend you must be eligible.  This includes gpa, behavior, and school dues to be up to paid and up to date.  

Jostens cap and gown orders can be picked up in the front office. Please come by during break, lunch, or after school only.
