Applications due this week! Juniors…Escalon Sunrise Rotary Club has an opportunity for you to participate in the 2023 RYLA Leadership Camp. These camps bring together over 200 students from the Central Valley who are already leaders in their schools. The camps will run from February 17-20, 2023. Applications and more information are available from Karen Nunes in the ASB office and are due by lunch on October 28.
It’s Red Ribbon Week, Cougars: today is music band or artist t-shirt Day. Twin up against drugs tomorrow and match with your friends for twin day. Thursdayis Adam Sandler Day, and Friday- Disney Day or Spirit Wear! The lunch time activity for the week has been moved to Thursday in the quad. Come out to sign our pledge to be drug free and grab a gift!
FCA - There will be a Fellowship of Christian Athletes meeting on Friday during lunch in room 2. We will be featuring a guest speaker. You do not need to be an athlete to attend - everyone is welcome. Join us for lunch on Friday.
The annual door decorating contest is this week: teachers: if you did not receive your supplies, please stop by Rm 7. This year's theme is famous tv shows and movies with a spooky twist. Remember to have your decoration up before Thursday to be judged!

Tomorrow is our first EHS Trunk Or Treat from 5:30-7pm. This community wide event will feature trunks decorated by EHS clubs, Sports Teams, Cheer, Escalon PD, and more. Food trucks from the Yogurt Mill and Tacos de nieve will be open, as well. Come join in the fun!

Van Allen Harvest Festival: The Van Allen Harvest Festival is looking for some students to help run the games, pass out candy, and assist at the pumpkin decorating station. Friday, October 28 from 5-8pm. If you are interested, please contact Mr. Bower in room 34 or by email: [email protected]
Blood Drive! EHS will be hosting a blood drive in the theater on Tuesday, November 15. This is a wonderful opportunity to help people in the community. If you will be at least 16 years old and are interested in donating, please see Mr Bower in room 34 to register. If donating doesn’t work for you, but you want to help, we will need volunteers. See Mr. Bower to pick up a pre-arranged absence form.

Modesto Junior College application workshop will be on Tuesday, Nov. 29th. Please complete registration in the Senior Google Classroom. Deadline to register is November 18th.
Seniors - Scholarships are available, and many are posted outside the ASB office! The time to start applying is now. Please stop by the ASB Office and talk with Mrs. Nunes to learn more.
The Free Application For Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Workshop will be on Thursday, November 3rd, from 3:30-6:30 PM in the library. This workshop is for senior students and their parents to get help completing the FAFSA to be eligible for financial aid for college.
