Escalon High School Daily Bulletin

PSAT Attention Juniors- Escalon High School will administer the PSAT on October 12, 2022. This is to help students practice and prepare for the official SAT. Exams will be $22.00 and can be purchased with Karen Nunes in the ASB office. Space is limited, so don't wait. For more detailed information, please check your student email. 

Attention Freshman Class: We are meeting TODAY at lunch in room 2 to discuss the float and program sales at the game on Friday.

Happy Homecoming Week! Today we’re “visiting” the Wild West in Texas.  Tomorrow is “Hippy Day” as we continue our trip to Oregon. We have a Rally tomorrow, Homecoming Parade on Friday, and Homecoming Queen reveal Friday night at the Varsity game.

Homecoming Parade Floats: This is a friendly reminder that all club, class, or organization floats need to submit driver information Today. Please submit a copy of your driver's license and insurance to the front office, or send a scanned copy to Mrs. Carbajal. Floats without driver information will not be allowed to participate in the parade. 

Junior and Senior Class Shirts have arrived! If you pre-ordered shirts, they will be available to pick up from Rm 7 today after school and tomorrow at lunch and after school to wear this Friday!  Sophomore and Freshman Class Shirts are scheduled to arrive on Monday or Tuesday.

ASB Cards and Family Passes should be here this week.  It will be in this bulletin when they are here to pick it up.  Thank you for your patience and understanding.

POWDER PUFF - Practices will be held on the 13th, 14th and 15th this week from 6-7 pm. Check in with Coach Nash at the varsity softball field. You need to turn in your permission slip and money to Mrs. Nunes at the ASB office window by September 19th. Sophomores you need to let Mr. A know who your 5 coaches are going to be or they cannot be at the game next week.

Cheer uniform payments are due.  You can pay online or in person at the ASB Office.  If you need more information or assistance with paying online, please call Karen Nunes at 209-691-9858.

ART and PHOTO CLUB- If you are walking in the parade with the photo or Art club come to the meeting today at lunch in room 40

Construction Trades Fair: Interested in working in the construction industry and want to explore career opportunities? The counseling center is coordinating a field trip for the Annual Construction Fair in Stockton on Friday, September 23. The registration deadline is Wednesday, the 14th. If interested in attending, Please fill out the google registration form and submit a Pre-Arranged Absence form to Mr. Jimenez…

Also, there’s a scholarship that Seniors can apply for in regard to architectural, engineering, construction trades, or any building-related fields, please apply for the Rick John Memorial Scholarship.  See Mrs. Nunes in the ASB office for more information.

 

College Night will be on Tuesday, September 27, at 5:00 PM.

Today, in Room 3 at lunch, the American Sign Language Club, ASL, will meet for the first time. All who are interested are welcome to come!


Attention All Students: Picture make-up day will be Monday, 9/19. Students will receive a pass that day to go during their appointment time.  Please see Liz in the office with any questions. 


Tabletop Gaming Thursday 9/15  will be the first official meeting in Room #29



 

Senior News

Attention Seniors - If you have not had your senior portrait taken yet, Shoob Photography will be coming to our campus on Oct 11th and 27th from 3:30 to 7:30. Appointments must be made via shoobphoto.com

Seniors If you have not joined the SENIOR Google classroom, please do so as soon as possible and complete your senior survey. Counselors will post important information for seniors in this folder, including dates and deadlines throughout the school year. 

Seniors - Scholarships are available, and many are posted outside the ASB office!  The time to start applying is now.  Please stop by the ASB Office and talk with Mrs. Nunes to learn more.

Congratulations, EHS, two of our students have been selected to the College Board National Recognition Program. 

 Our students earned this recognition because of their academic achievements in school and outstanding performance on the PSAT/NMSQT, PSAT 10, and/or AP Exams. They've accomplished these milestones during an immensely demanding period of their high school career. We couldn't be more delighted to share this great news.
