EHS Choir concert is tonight, May 19th, at 6pm in the theatre. All are welcome to attend. 

Students, Staff, Community Members - do you remember Mariah Izzo from your Van Allen elementary school years?....or some other way?  Mariah would have graduated from EHS as part of the Class of 2022.  Please stop by the ASB office or call Karen Nunes at 209-691-9858 to learn more about something we are working on to honor Mariah’s memory.

AP Spanish-Next Monday May 23, 2022 will be the AP Spanish Language and Culture AP meeting in Room 22 at lunch time. Everyone who is planning to take the class next year, needs to attend the meeting and return your contract as soon as possible. You need to come by to get your contracts, they are due Friday 5/27/2022

Don't Forget- ART Club is selling ICE CREAM at nutrition and during lunch. The cost is $1.00. We will be outside room 20 at nutrition and in the quad during lunch (while supplies last). See you there, and thank you for your support.

We have only a few yearbooks left! Get yours before it’s too late. We CAN NOT order more once we sell out. 

Graduation is just around the corner. Our Seniors are leaving for good. Give them a little remembrance of EHS for their scrapbook. Send them a Graduation Gram! Come by the table outside the ASB at lunch to write your favorite seniors a note. Grad Grams will be $2, and will be on sale through Today! Last chance to make a small memory! You’ve seen us out there. Stop by.

FFA National Convention Meeting on Thursday 5/19 at lunch in RM 36. 

Cross Country- Did you miss the meeting? If you are interested in giving cross country a try see Mr. Bower in Room 34 to get information about summer practices and next season. 

Girls Golf: Any ladies interested in playing girls golf next year need to come to an informational meeting next Tuesday in room 11.  No experience necessary.  We need girls from each grade and every skill level so all are welcome. 

 

AP COURSE MEETINGS!!! 

If you are enrolled in an AP Class for the 2022-2023 school year, you will need to pick up your course contract and summer assignments (if applicable) at your class meeting. Meetings will take place during lunch unless otherwise specified:

  • The AP WORLD HISTORY meeting WAS  on Monday, May 16 during lunch in Room 12.
  • The AP English Language and Composition meeting WAS on Tuesday, May 17 during lunch in Room 15.
  • The AP Stats meeting will take place on Wednesday, May 18th during lunch in room 34.
  • The AP LITERATURE  meeting will take place Thursday, May 19, during lunch in Room 6.
  • The AP BIOLOGY meeting will take place Thursday, May 19, during lunch in Room 3.
  • If you signed up for AP US History next year, check your email, join the Google Classroom and stop by room 9. 

 

 

 

 

Senior News

Planning to attend Disneyland Grad Nite? Please be sure you REMAIN eligible now so you are ready to enjoy the activities.

Attention Senior Students and Parents: Disney Grad Nite is tomorrow. Remember to check in at the new gym NO later than 5:15am. Stop by Rm 7 at lunch today if you haven’t signed up for a bus seat, or if you have any last minute questions regarding the trip. Get some sleep tonight! 

Seniors - Did you receive any scholarships that you want to be noted in the graduation program?  If so, email [email protected] by Tuesday, May 10th, and include the following:  Your name (recipient) and the correct name of each award.  Please be sure it is neat and easy to understand.  Write “GRAD PROGRAM” in the subject line and ensure you receive a reply within one day to confirm receipt.  If not, please follow up.

 

MJC is excited to host evening workshops where students can complete Core Steps (Application, Orientation, & Educational Planning).

To register for the workshops, students can simply click on MJC workshops and select the date they would like to attend.

Attention Seniors…..Graduation will be here soon!  Remember to pay library fines and return overdue books.

Sports

For those going to watch the softball playoff game today at Orestimba, all will be required to have a digital ticket to enter and watch the game.  Digital tickets can be purchased through GoFan.co.  There will be no cash sales at the entrance.  Good luck ladies.
