Attention all student-athletes interested in playing a spring sport...make sure you are cleared online before the spring season begins. 

California Scholarship Federation Applications are Due by Friday. Stop delaying and turn them into Bower in Room 34. Remember you must apply each semester. 

It’s ME, MARIO!. Do you have an old Nintendo Wii that you are not using?  Mrs. Rissetto in Room 20 is looking for a Nintendo Wii Donation. Please bring any Wii hardware or Wii games to Room 20.

Seniors we've secured a third bus for Disneyland, so there are 10 spots open!! Get your permission slip and trip info at the ASB window or outside room 13! If you haven’t made your payment that was due December 2, you’ll need to pay this week.  Those who haven’t paid the December payment are at risk of getting moved to a “waitlist”.  The last payment of $100 is due February 3! Sign-ups END FEBRUARY 14, no exceptions!

Want some help with one of your classes? Want a space to finish a homework assignment? Peer Tutoring is available in Room 34 during lunch every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Stop by today! 

Seniors...Check out the Walter F. Hogan scholarship. The scholarship has lots of options for students interested in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Industrial Fabrication, Certified Welding, and Maintenance.  Students who are active members of Friends Helping Friends club should also consider applying.

Senior students interested in a career in Agriculture should apply for the Robbie Taberna FFA Memorial Scholarship!

Track Athletes: Updated approval lists are available outside room 2 and room 34. If you are not on the list you can’t practice. Turn in your paperwork as soon as possible.

There are still a few purple and gold PuraVida bracelets left. Stop by room 13 to get one!

Animal Shelter Collection Jars: The FFA Chapter officers are collecting funds for the local animal shelter.  Each 4th period class has a jar, the class with the most money donated on Feb 14th will win a pizza party.  

Attention FFA Members:  The next chapter meeting is a business meeting on Feb 12th at 3:30pm.  This is a great way to get an activity point and learn about upcoming events in the Ag dept.

Attention All-Freshman, Sophomores, and Juniors planning to play football next year. Mandatory meeting at lunch Thursday, room 23, with coach Beam. 

PSAT sales for Freshman and Sophomore students will start today through Wednesday  2/26/20. The 9th-grade PSAT will cost $12 and will be on the 23rd of April and the 10th-grade PSAT will cost $17 and be on the 24th of April.  Please see Karen Nunes in the ASB office to purchase your test.  

Seniors, are you interested in a career in auto and diesel repair, auto bodywork, or Welding?  A representative from UTI in Sacramento will be in the counseling center on the 25th of February during lunch.  Please see Ms. Liz in the counseling center asap to sign up.  

The FFA Program would like to congratulate our 8 students who participated in the Delta Cal Speaking Contest last night! The results were: 

Extemporaneous Public Speaking: 3rd place, Jack Fitzgerald. Job Interview: 4th Place, Ella Adams. Impromptu: 2nd place, Jacob Dugo, 5th place, Madison Hagglund. Creed: 3rd place, Molly Terpstra. Prepared Public Speaking: 5th place, Katie Avila. We wish Jack, Molly, Ella, and Jacob good luck at regionals in March!

The Lions Club Speakers Contest went very well yesterday.  Everyone had great solutions for homelessness in California.  The judges selected Emma Bracco to represent Escalon High School in the zone contest next month.
