Escalon High School Daily Bulletin

Homecoming is THIS WEEK!! To celebrate the 100th year of Escalon High, this year's theme is "Escalon Through the Decades." Dress up days for next week are as follows:

Tuesday- soc's vs. greasers (dress preppy like a social or rebellious like a greaser)

Wednesday- dress up like your favorite movie character

Thursday- grunge vs hippie (freshmen and sophomores dress in grunge, juniors and seniors dress like a hippie)

Friday- Class colors (freshmen are yellow, sophomores are purple, juniors are white, seniors are black)

 

The Homecoming Night Rally is Thursday, October 3 at 7 pm in the gym. You must show a current Student ID to enter the rally. The homecoming parade is Friday, October 4 at 2:30 downtown and your 2019 Homecoming Queen will be announced during halftime of the varsity game which starts at 7 pm next Friday.

Photo Club- There will be a meeting today Wednesday 25th at lunch in room 40 all who will be going on the field trip to Yosemite must attend.

Just a reminder that baby powder or like substance cannot be thrown during football games per TVL rules. Anyone throwing powder will receive harsh discipline.

Seniors! There are still a few class shirts available. Stop by room 13 to purchase one for $15. 

8 Hamilton Tickets are still available!!!  If you are interested in seeing Hamilton you must see Mrs. Rissetto in Room 20 TODAY!!!  Ticket Sales end on FRIDAY!!!!!

AP Tests will be on sale in the ASB office starting October 1.  Price is $74 per test ordered unless you have a waiver.  Cash and check payments will be accepted until November 7.  November 8-15 cash only payments will be accepted. November 15 is the last day to purchase an AP test.  Pink order forms are available just outside of the ASB Office. Have the order form filled out when you come to the ASB window to pay.  Get your tests early to avoid long lines. Please make checks payable to “EUSD”.

JUNIORS- PSAT tests are now being sold in the counseling center for $17. The test date is Wednesday, October 16, 2019. There is only a limited amount available.  So get yours before they sell out.  

Want some help with one of your classes? Want a space to finish a homework assignment? Peer Tutoring is available in Room 34 during lunch every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Stop by today!¡

Some FFA Scholarships are now open!! Are you a member of the FFA or 4-H and planning to participate in the San Joaquin County AgFest Fair?  If so, the Escalon Fair Booster Scholarship is for you! If you’re planning to major in Agriculture then the EHS Ag Boosters Scholarship is a great scholarship to apply for.

If you are interested in seeing Hamilton in San Francisco on November 6th, come and see Mrs. Rissetto in Room 20.  

Attention all students planning on playing a winter sport. Make sure your physical is up to date and you get cleared on www.athleticlearance.com. You will not be able to start practicing until you are cleared online.

Fall Wrestling Practice will be Tuesdays at 5:30 in the wrestling room.  Make sure you have completed the online clearance before coming to practice.
